From a family-run cottage kitchen to a full-service Ukrainian restaurant and martini bar, Pierogi Bar St Pete was created to share Ukrainian food, craft cocktails, culture, and hospitality far beyond one table, one city, or one community.
HOW IT STARTED
Our Story
Pierogi Bar began as a cottage kitchen operated from home, delivering Ukrainian comfort food made from traditional family recipes. What started with borscht, deruny, and the food we grew up with quickly became something too big to stay small. The kitchen was busy, the idea was growing, and it became clear that we needed a real home for it.
It took nearly a year to find the right place. When we finally did, it sparked a new idea: to bring Ukrainian staple foods together with one of America’s most iconic cocktails — the martini. That combination became the beginning of something new: a full-service Ukrainian restaurant and martini bar with warmth, character, and a story of its own.

That home-kitchen beginning still guides the way we cook today. Our menu is built around real Ukrainian food made with care — borscht, deruny, cabbage rolls, kovbasa, shashlyk, schnitzel, lamb shank, pot roast, house-made soups, fresh salads, Ukrainian-style sides, and desserts that bring comfort, memory, and celebration to the table.
